Kids and the Web

I am a grandmother of four beautiful children and I love them all to death. But sometimes I think the kids today just have their brains totally rotted out by the Internet. I know that when my kids were growing up television was just starting to become popular and I made sure to limit their intake. I think the kids would totally just stare at a television screen all day if you let them and they would never go outside. When I was growing up you couldn’t even be in the house during the daytime because my mom needed to clean and cook. That is why I had to learn how to entertain myself in the great outdoors. But now all that my grandkids do is watch tv online. I do not blame them because their parents let them do it so that they can get their work done. But I wish that I could tell my grandkids that it is valuable to go outdoors and learn about your surroundings and experience nature.
